Life today - after Hampton Manor

Interviewer: Was it very different when you moved?
Caroline: It was different, a change.
Interviewer: Has it been a change for the good?
Caroline: Yes, lovely flats. I look out to the garden.
[Life’s] changed a lot for me, definitely. I feel a different person... I’ve got a different life. I can go out and I don’t need to lock anything away, what a difference. I come in and I think “this is lovely”. It really is. I think, it’s mine, I’ve put my stamp on it.

Yes. My home… I like living here...
When the cleaners came [to my flat], I said I’ve got the keys.
And they said “what have you got the keys for?”
And I said “It’s my own little flat, I live here... They’re my keys, not yours.”
They said “Well I want to do your cleaning.”
I said “No! You’re not allowed in here, it’s private.”
