Project Launch Event - 21 November 2018, Knowle United Reformed Church

On the 21st November 2018 we held our Project Launch Event. It was a great success, with some brilliant speeches, lots of conversation and the sharing of photographs and memories.

We held it at the Knowle United Reformed Church as this is where groups of former Middlefield residents had met in the past, following the closure of the hospital.

Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund and money raised by National Lottery Players, we were able to put on this event and reunite some people who hadn’t seen each other for years - as well as providing them with lunch!
